About

My background as a horticulturist, landscape designer, and sustainability educator (Master’s in Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability) brings a unique deep earth wisdom to trauma healing.

I know how natural systems restore themselves – and apply that knowledge to helping human nervous systems find their way back to balance.

An artist myself, I understand how creativity lives in the body, how inspiration feels physically, and how blocks show up somatically. I can help other creatives notice when their system is open versus contracted, and guide you back to that embodied state where creativity flows.

As a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner certified through Somatic Experiencing International, I offer SE sessions both virtually via Zoom and outdoors in nature. For those drawn to outdoor sessions, nature serves as an additional resource for grounding and orientation, supporting your nervous system’s natural capacity to find regulation and healing.

What is Somatic Experiencing?

Somatic Experiencing (SE) is a body-based approach to healing trauma and supporting nervous system regulation. Developed by Dr. Peter Levine, SE is founded on the understanding that trauma isn’t just stored in our minds—it lives in our bodies as incomplete survival responses. When we experience overwhelming events, our natural fight, flight, or freeze responses can get interrupted or stuck, leaving us with symptoms like anxiety, chronic pain, or feeling disconnected from ourselves.

SE works by gently helping your nervous system complete these interrupted responses at your own pace. Rather than retelling traumatic stories, we focus on tracking sensations, movement, and your body’s innate wisdom to heal. Through small, manageable steps, your system learns to discharge trapped survival energy and return to a state of calm and resilience. This approach is effective for a wide range of experiences—from major trauma and anxiety to chronic pain, birth trauma, psychedelic integration and even creative blocks that stem from nervous system dysregulation.
